Obstetrics in Osteopathy

The day will start with a review of the anatomical and physiological changes which occur during pregnancy and then reappraise the case history evaluation process as applied to obstetrics and gynaecology. The afternoon will be devoted to practical work; practising specific techniques for pregnancy.

In the last hour a research study will be presented; the results of a cohort analysis of 800 patients treated at the BSO expectant mothers clinic. Participants will find the conclusions useful in the promotion osteopathy and obstetrics in their practice.

All participants will be given full course notes and handouts.
