Visceral Osteopathy
This day course will review the anatomy of the abdominal cavity and the internal relationships between organs. The embryological development of the viscera will be presented to analyse the formation of attachments and their relationships with the abdominal musculoskeletal system. The physiological support and maintenance of viscera will be discussed with a consideration of sliding surfaces and potential treatment modalities. Participants will put these principals into practice with an assessment and treatment of the peritoneum.
